Planning Manager Assistant

Job Purpose

This role is part of a team responsible for providing strong fact based, intelligent analysis and recommendations on the commercial activities and the successful delivery of the Business intelligence program to deliver an enhanced environment for all department data in the following areas.

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE

Qualification & Education:

·       Degree level education in Business, Economics, Engineering or Mathematics.

·       Recognized IATA or industry certification in Customer Experience, Fares, Distribution, Revenue management, Alliances or any related discipline.

Experience:

·       Minimum 3-5 years working experience in a numerate or analytical role.

·       2-3 years data and business analysis in an airline commercial and sales environment.

·       Proven track record of success in influencing a wide circle of stakeholders to undertake actions leading to positive performance improvement.

·       Experience in business intelligence environment & Project management would be an advantage.

Training & knowledge

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Industry leading numeracy skills.

·       Experience in data analysis and reporting essential.

·       Project management experience is an advantage.

·       Some knowledge of SAP products/ SAS experience would also be considered is an advantage.

·       Expert in Excel.

·       Experience in database management is an advantage.

·       Project Management skills.

·       Problem solving skills.
